Throughout the beginning of the 20th \ncentury more and more land was edit on, and donated by Private \nlandowners, one of them was Eileen Orpen who had a love for wildlife.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"525\" height=\"394\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/zebratours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/IMG_0302-1.jpg?resize=525%2C394\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-130\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/zebratours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/IMG_0302-1.jpg?w=640&amp;ssl=1 640w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/zebratours.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/IMG_0302-1.jpg?resize=300%2C225&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 525px) 100vw, 525px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The first warden appointed was Major Stevenson-Hamilton,  and was told to manage a piece of land the size of the Netherlands. Enjoy a tranquil evenings around an open campfire while listening to the sounds of the wild, in the distance. (Kruger Mpumalanga International) Nelspruit Airport, which is a mere 27km from the nearest gate to the Kruger National Park itself.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>OPTION 2 <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fly in directly to Skukuza airport, inside the Kruger Park itself, which is a mere 15 minutes drive from Skukuza camp.
