Three of the tents have been adapted for use by visitors with impaired mobility at Lower Sabie Rest Camp in Kruger Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitors cannot but feel soothed by the view over the perennial Sabie\n River and the Lebombo Mountains beyond, which form the natural boundary\n and act as a highlight of the Kruger National Park. <strong>Expansive green lawns<\/strong> are shaded from the remorseless African sun by majestic Sycamore Fig Trees, providing the setting for a breathtaking panorama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Sycamore Fig Tree provides generously<\/strong> for the \nlivelihood of many animals, birds and insects. Other trees in the area \nsuch as Marula, Natal Mahogany and Fever Tree flower at different times \nof the year ensures that the gifts of life are extended over many \nmonths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Large numbers of game are attracted to the abundance of water, sweet \ngrass and foliage in the vicinity of Lower Sabie Rest Camp, giving rise \nto a diversity of game, almost unequalled anywhere else in the Park. The\n area is also rich in <strong>Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Hippopotamus<\/strong>, Rhino, herds of Buffalo up to 800 strong, and is known for its high density of Warthog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lower Sabie Rest Camp has everything you need for a successful bushveld holiday, including electric power, <strong>emergency road service<\/strong>,\n basic first aid assistance, fuel station (selling petrol and diesel), \nlicensed restaurant, cafeteria (offering convenience food), laundromat, \nwell-stocked shop (selling groceries, wine, beer and spirits, as well as\n a selection of clothing, books and curios for shopping in Kruger \nNational Park), and picnic facilities for day visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The addition of a swimming pool<\/strong> has proved to be a \npopular enjoyment of guests, especially the younger ones.
